How can I search all of the available properties in a particular city?

Click on "Find a Property" in the menu bar near the top of the page and select "Search by City". A text box will appear and you will be prompted to enter the city name. Simply type the city name in the text box and click Go. If HomeSeekers finds multiple cities similar to the city name you entered, it will provide you with a list of those cities to select from. You will then be forwarded to a page that will allow you enter more specific property information, if you wish. Your city name will already be selected in the city list. Select "Search Now" and let HomeSeekers.com search its vast database for all listings which met your search.

What if I want to search for all properties in a general area?

Take advantage of HomeSeekers.com's easy-to-use maps to find all listings in a general area. To search for properties in a general area, start with the National Map Page. There are two ways to get to the national map. From the Home Page, Click on "Find a Property" in the menu bar near the top of the page and select "Search by Map". From any other page, click on "National Map" in the left margin. Once you are in the National Map Page, use the interactive USA map to select a particular state. You will then be presented with a regional map. Simply, select an area on the map and you will be forwarded to a page that will allow you enter more specific property information, if you wish. Select "Search Now" and let HomeSeekers.com search its vast database for all listings which met your search.

I am searching for one particular property. How can I discover more detailed information on this listing?

There are two ways. First, if you know the MLS property number (All homes listed by a Real Estate Agent will have one), click on "Find a Property" in the menu bar near the top of the page and select "Search by MLS#". A text box will appear and you will be prompted to enter the property's MLS number. Simply type the number in the text box and click Go. If HomeSeekers finds multiple listings with the MLS property number you entered, it will provide you with a list of those properties with their corresponding listing services to select from. If you only know the address, or at least the city and street, you can enter the city in "Find a Property" - "Search by City" and on the subsequent page, enter the street name and/or zip code, click "Search Now" and you will be presented with the listing details of this particular property. (If you do not see a box for street name or zip code, click on "Advanced Search" just below the City list or in the left margin to add more search options.)

I need a Real Estate Agent. Can HomeSeekers.com help me find one?

You can came to the right place. There is no easier way to find a Real Estate Professional than using HomeSeekers.com's built-in Agent Finder capabilities. Simply click on "Find an Agent" in the menu bar near the top of the page and select "Search by City", "Search by Office" or "Search by Name". Type in the city name, office name, agent name etc., as prompted and click GO. HomeSeekers will produce a list of Real Estate Professionals that closely match the criteria of your choice. To find an agent in a general area, use the USA Map to navigate to a state of your choice, and select a region within the state to bring up the Search Page. There, select "Agent Finder" in the left margin to locate an agent in that area.

Can HomeSeekers.com help me find a loan?

Of Course. While on the Search Page, (Use the USA Map to navigate to a state of your choice, and select a region within the state to bring up the Search Page.) you find a list of all the real estate related services for this region in the left margin. Select "Finance Center" to see a list of mortgage professionals in this area.

I am selling my home. How can I have it listed on HomeSeekers.com?

Your house will automatically be displayed on HomeSeekers.com as long as your real estate agent has listed it with one of the over 175 (and counting) Multiple Listing Services that we receive data from daily.

I am about to put my home on the market. Can I find out what similar homes in my neighborhood are listed for.?

Yes. Start on our Home Page and click on "Find a Property" in the menu bar near the top of the page. In the drop-down menu select "Search by City" to find all homes on the market in your city. After clicking GO, you will be able to narrow down your search using our extensive list of search options. Complete the form specifying all the amenities that that apply to your current home. Select "Search Now" and you will be presented with a list of all homes on the market in your city similar to your home. For complete and extensive comparative sales analysis, contact your local real estate professional.

I found a house on your site that I am interested in. How can I get more information or take a tour of the property?

If you already are working with a real estate agent, give the MLS# of the property (located directly below the List Price and Address) to your agent and he or she will be ableto set up an appointment for you. If you are not currently working with an agent, you can contact the listing agent directly by clicking the "E-Mail Listing" Link or calling them at the phone number prominently displayed next the listing agent's name.

How do I access Homeseekers.com with my Web Enabled Cell Phone and PDA?

You're driving down the street and see a "For Sale Sign" on a magnificent home. "Hmm...," you wonder, "how much are they selling it for?" You pull out your internet ready cellular phone and punch in "HomeSeekers.com". Through the custom menu you enter the street address and see that the home is selling far less then you anticipated. Arrow down to the agent's phone number and press "CALL". You are now connected to the Real Estate Listing Agent. Don't have your cell phone with you? No Problem. You can access the same information through your internet ready PDA. Here's how:

o If your handheld PDA has a Modem with Internet Access, simply type in http://www.homeseekers.com into the PDA's web browser to access the same features available to you on your PC, such as the latest listings and the Homeseekers.com Agent Finder.
o If your handheld PDA does not include a Modem and/or Internet Access, Homeseekers.com suggests using a Mobile Internet Service such as AvantGo, which allows you to select Homeseekers.com to download the next time you "sync" your PDA. This will allow you to interact and browse through your downloaded pages offline. Each time you "sync" your PDA, updated data, such as Listings or Agents will be downloaded onto your PDA.
